What is the best food for dogs in the U.S. market and why?

Nutro Max currently use dry dog food and want to know if there is something better to feed my dog. I'm looking less filling and products.

I would strongly suggest Canidae dog or solid foods gold. They are human grade and have no padding or products. Furthermore, no corn, wheat, either. I also used to feed Nutro large breed, but I'm in the process of switching to Canidae. I am also pleased that I found the food to be cheeper for $ 5 for a bag of 40 pounds that the Nutro. My dogs love the Canidae!
