Catch-22 movie vs book, how different are they?

I have to write this book only covers the basic plot though. I know are not close to being accurate, but are close enough for me to live without reading? if you're going to be an enemy, do not bother to answer. Thank you.

The problem is that there will always be additional information in the book as when there are movies that are set with a time limit and budget. Not everything omitted is useful information, but with a book he is using his imagination to set the scene and see the characters. For example, I read the Code Da Vinci – excellent. Seen the movie but was disappointed because I had the image of the main character as Tom Hanks. And because it shows how many wanted to do in the movies, the little things were left out. Give the book a first attempt, and then see the movie. You can find the book easier to read and understand after seeing the film.
